the Vulcan Forney's (0-4-4t)
Though the normal for the Forney's was to run tender first (t4-4-0), these were designed to run boiler first (0-4-4t). This allowed the hight of the tender to be raised for added water and coal, but meant that the engines seemed to wander from side to side and track to the outside of the curves, not lead into them.
